Series of scoops: American Horror Story Anthology

NOTE: I do not own ANY of the depicted images shown below

Well, I guess this is the first time that I've told you this, but I really love horror, as well as gore. Though I'm obviously underage, my family and I usually spend time together in the living room, watching Saw or Silent Hill.

So now, I'll be telling you about the recent phenomenal Anthology, American Horror Story. Each season has a distinct theme, and a unique miniseries in them.

Currently, 2 seasons are already finished airing, and the third is still being produced.

The first season is subsequently re-titled as "Murder House". It tells thee tale of the experience of the Harmons in their new, modern victorian home, which will come to life, or rather, death sooner or later.

I really liked this season, more than the next one. It had a cocktail of atmospheres, including love, hatred, vengeance, happiness, family, and others.

The next season, is titled Asylum. As the name suggests, the second season is about the happenings in and around, as well as out and about the Briarcliff Manor, an asylum designated for those who are criminally insane.

What I liked about this season is the mixture of realities and understandings. It's not that I'm spoiling you, but Asylum has different stories, including aliens, the devil, even the Nazis!

The third season, which is yet to be premiered by October, is titled Coven. As the name implies, it will be a story about witches, probably in Salem, in modern times.

Now I don't have any information about that, except that the season's theme was purposely hinted in the 2nd season's tenth episode, "The name game", and that many of the stars before will be returning, together with new characters, like Emma Roberts!

New lens from Dolly House!

Since my cosplan for the Best of Anime con is Mori from Ouran Hish School Host club, I need to make my eyes become gray. So I decided to buy a pair of circle lenses from Dolly House.

I got the Tiffany Sassy Gray lenses, together with a pocket-sized solution and a travel case kit.

Here are pictures, overviews, opinions! (sorry for the low quality pics)

Here are the products all in all.

The lens with the free case and instruction manual

the uber cute lens case kit, with the silicone tipped tweezers and case.

The lenses in their totally adorable tiny vials!

After a relatively hard time of removing the cap of the second vial, I finally got the lenses out and put them DIRECTLY in the lens case. I don't know what'll happen, but I saw something over the net that said that the case should be RINSED first before using, but I didn't. So yeah. Am I set for eternal damnation? Nah, I don't think so.

I haven't used any contact lens before, so this is kind of scary. LOL. I hope that I'll be successful in wearing them for the first time tomorrow, since there is school. I kinda want my classmates to be envious of me because of the lens, LOL.

Now for the shop I got them from.

I got them from Dolly House Shoppe, and you can visit their page HERE.

I found the shop very nice, since they gave me VERY good service when we met, I became paranois for the first time there because I thought that she wouldn't come in our meeting time, but I was wrong! She had a reason, and she was right behind me!

The shop sells a wide selection of circle lenses, as well as other jewelry and lolita accessories.

I found the dealing price is very affordable. It is very nice to see that shops have very cheap, but authentic products.

That's all, OYASUMI!

Papemelroti

Okay. So this is a feature of the shop, Papemelroti. They didn't contact me or anything, I just wanted to share this nostalgic shop.

As my first impression, I thought that Papemelroti is a fancy word or something, However, this was as far-fetched as a fish climbing a tree. Apparently, Papemelroti is a combitnation of the first syllables of five people. I don't remember all of them, but you can check the whole story behind papemelroti HERE.

*The following picture/picture isn't mine and I give full credit to the owners.
~a picture of their ... original shop.

What do they offer?
They offer a lot of handicrafts, paper items, scrapbooking materials, craft supplies, ultra kawaii vintage jewelry, and many, many more.

What I like about them?
I definitely like their uniqueness. The products that they offer have vintage and slightly emotional touches on them.

Their site.
Their site has a lot of stuff going on. They update frequently, and if you want to, you can receuive free e-newsletters. They have many options when choosing items for purchasing. You can either have the items ship (they ship internationally too) or pick them up at a local "papemel" (what we call the shop) store. You can also avail a discount card by collecting Php 5,000 worth of receipts over they year.

They also have affiliate programs that even a student can avail. You can resell, etc... Just contact them for more info.

PS. I visit this store whenever I can, and buy craft materials/journals/other stuff . My parents also said that they have been going to this store as far as their memories could span.

COFFEE RUSH!

Hello! I became hungry earlier so I decided to have a snack of bread and coffee. Our family had a tradition of  "Saw-saw Mocha" , literally translating to: Dip Mocha. We have become used to dipping bread in coffee to have a moist, delectable coffee-bread.

So today, I'm gonna share two recipes for Iced mocha/coffee to all of you.
Sad to say, I can't upload a pic =((((

So here's my first recipe!!!
Instant Cinnamonster Iced coffee~

2) Add hot water and mix well.

Manila Tour and food trip!

An office mate of my mom's .... err, office, lodged in our house. (until this week) We decided to take her on a trip around Manila, since she's from Cebu and it's her first time to "migrate" here.

Places we went:
1. We went berserk to take pics in Luneta park (I wasn't able to take pics myself).
2. We went inside Intramuros. It was my first time there myself LOL. What I saw was an old-fashioned Spanish style "walled city" complete with cobblestone roads.
3. Well we hoped to see Malacanan palace (with an "en-ye" letter) but the road's closed.
4. We also hoped to get free admission at the National Museum (every Sunday), but we learned that the cutoff is @ 4:30 PM. The sad part, WE WENT THERE @ 4:38 PM!
5. Manila bay. I just couldn't get that Uber putrid stench off my nostrils! May precious babies suffered :(
6. Food trips. I ATE A LOT BY THE WAY.

Here are the foodie places we went to.

When we experienced the sense of hunger, we decided to take our guest in Quiapo so she could taste the awesome goodness of BOULEVARD...

above: the vintage signage of Boulevard burgers.

According to my mom, Boulevard burgers has been around since the 70s. Also, My mom and dad would often go here to buy very delicious burgers.

The price is very affordable @ around Php 28 for a burger. I think that it's worth it, since it tastes like HEAVEN. It's ultra good with many herbs, plus cucumbers make a refreshing impression on your tongue.

I'm very amused by their way of endorsing, too. The cook, who is displaying her prowess in the entrance of the narrow hallway always shouts "Burger" or "Burjer" in a rather amusing tone. That's what makes the shop soooo populous.

~PS, you can fins Boulevard burgers beside a cyclist shop in Quiapo, Manila.

Here we go!

The pic above is the entrance to the restaurant "Pares Pares" in Quezon City. We became "sukis" when we first ate there.

The shop offers a variety of originals from the Filipino cuisine. Their bestseller, of course, is the beefy pares, which is priced at the very "sulit" price of Php 79. I must say, It's very delicious! They also offer their bestseller drink, Super Ice tea, which is given a pitcher-sized stein. (LITERALLY!)

I have to admit, I was full when my sister decided to treat us there, but I pushed on since I LOVE PARES.

~Pares Pares can be found along Mindanao Ave. and Pag-asa.

Solution Lens Giveaway!

Well, well. What have we got here? ANOTHER GIVEAWAY!

I can't really say that I'm not familiar with this one, since this post is only an extension from my tumblr post.

Anyways, I'm here to review their shop and give answers to some of their questions and opinions on their interface!

So first I'm gonna give some preliminary observations on their site!

When I first went to their site, I was wondering why their favicon-which is the pic on the Chrome tab (I know this since I tried very basic Webdev about 4 years ago)-was an orange lock? To be honest, I still DON'T KNOW the answer to that. Another thing that intrigued me was the Samurai-styled header banner on their page, which was really cool. I also liked their color scheme, which incorporated a very eye-catching tone of pink.

Now, I'm gonna rate their site, according to category, with one "*" being the lowest and 5 the highest. (Well of course, all of these are mere observations)
